MELTON SOUTH COMMUNITY CENTRE INC AIMS TO CREATE A WELCOMING AND POSITIVE EXPERIENCE FOR ALL.  

Melton South Community Centre Inc. was at 26 Exford Road, Melton South from March 1987 to Friday 18 December 2014. On Monday 12 January 2015, we relocated to our current home at 41 Exford Road, Melton South (at the DJ Cunningham building). 

Our aims and purposes are to provide our community with a Neighbourhood House/Community Learning Centre which reflects the needs of the local community, particularly the needs and interests of those disadvantaged in our community, as well as:
- to operate on a not-for-profit basis
- to operate in a manner which does not discriminate against participants on the grounds of age, race, gender, religious or political belief, physical or mental capacity, or financial resources
- to provide a variety of integrated activities including education, hobby and leisure courses and self-help and support groups
- to ensure that activities and programs are financially accessible to all who wish to participate, and in certain circumstances waive some of the fee/s if necessary
- to encourage participants to be involved in their community and have information to take action at a local level using a community development model
