Community Support & Assistance during COVID-19

We understand that the current restrictions will have a substantial impact on many people and families in the community.

Emergency food relief, mental health services, housing support, family violence support and support for seniors are all available to the Melton community from a range of organisations. More details are listed below.

COVID-19 Update

Due to the Stage 4 restrictions coming into effect at 11:59pm on Wednesday 5 August, the centre is now closed. If you need to contact the office, we recommend emailing [email protected], which will continue to be monitored throughout our closure.

Courses and classes for term 3 have been suspended, so please disregard our term program if you have a copy in your possession. We hope to return to our usual programming in term 4, once the current lockdown period is over.

Room Hire

We have rooms available at certain times if you are looking for a place to hold a meeting, conduct a support group or hold an information session.

We have different-sized rooms, depending on your requirements. Room hire includes tea and coffee, and can be amended to include the use of items such as projectors.

Prices are very reasonable; rates depend on the size of the room and the type of group.

Something New?

Is there something that we don't offer that you'd like to learn? Or are you interested in teaching a special skill?  Please call or email us and we will endeavour to help you.

Bus Stops

Buses travelling along Route 457 & Route 459 stop next door to the centre and we are a five-minute walk from the Melton railway station.

Melton South Community Centre Committee of Management

Would you like to be part of the Committee of Management?

With the Committee elected each September at the centre's Annual General Meeting, Committee meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 1:00pm.

Please give us a call at the centre if you would like to become part of our Committee.
